Dedicating Gemstones & Minerals
You may also choose to dedicate the stone to a certain God or Goddess, the purpose of this is to protect the stone against negative energy, a stone that has been dedicated this way is a very powerful tool. Dedicating a stone is really rather simple, just like programming gemstones and minerals. You start this process just like you started the programming process and hold the stone in your hands. At the point where you would otherwise start installing the program you will start dedicating the stone right now. In your mind you send the following to the stone, "Only the most positive energy may flow through this tool for healing. I dedicate you to..."
Now you focus yourself on the purpose that you have in mind for this stone and end with "So be it!" The stone is now dedicated and ready for use.
